MiniShop3

MiniShop3 is a modern, full-featured e-commerce component for MODX 3 — the successor to MiniShop2 (MODX 2). It provides product catalog with options and galleries, cart, checkout and orders, customer accounts with email/SMS verification, deliveries and payments, model fields and grids — all through a Vue 3 + PrimeVue admin UI and a clean REST API for storefront and integrations.

Initial release of MiniShop3 in the official MODX Extras directory. MiniShop3 is the successor to MiniShop2 (MODX 2 era) — a complete rewrite for MODX 3 with a modern admin UI and REST API.

Highlights

• Vue 3 + PrimeVue admin UI — orders, customers, products, categories, options, deliveries, payments, statuses, vendors, links, gallery — all managed through the new Vue interface.
• REST API for both manager and storefront — clean, predictable endpoints for custom integrations.
• Product options — flexible EAV options with dedicated msOptionGroup grouping, per-category caption/description overrides.
• Order workflow — drafts, cost recalculation, statuses with lifecycle events, email/SMS/Telegram notifications.
• Customer accounts — registration, email verification, sessions, addresses, history.
• Storefront snippets — msProducts, msCart, msOrder, msGetOrder, msOrderTotal, msProductOptions — with a clean numeric placeholders contract (plain values for arithmetic, *_formatted for display).
• Phinx migrations for schema evolution — predictable upgrade path.
• Extensible — model fields, extra fields, Object Extension, plugin events for cart / order / customer / option lifecycle.
